Men and Machine

(the 2-man 5-piece band)

Men and Machine plays music for all ages (oldies, top 40, rock & roll, country, soul, swing, fast, slow, line dances, et. al.). Our band has been playing for clubs, banquets, parties, dances, concerts, fairs and carnivals, etc. for sixteen years!  We have a repertoire of hundreds of songs.  The wide variety of music we play appeals to people of all ages.

Men and Machine also plays specialty Family Dance Party shows for PTO school groups, church groups and camp resorts.  At these, the band plays top 40 cover tunes and oldies, plus line dances and circle dances (Macarena, chicken dance, electric slide, hokey pokey, et. al.)

Men and Machine also plays a number of original songs, many of which are featured on the four albums we have produced on our own recording label.

Men and Machine uses a combination of live and pre-recorded music (all made by the two band members) to create the sound of a five-piece band in half the space.  Between them, the two band members sing and play ten different instruments:

Matthew Dodd-- vocals, guitar, harmonica, mandolin, electronic drums

Larry Gildner—vocals, lead guitar, bass, keyboards, electronic drums

It’s the sound of a live band at half the price!
